You are home.

You are home.
You are home already.
Home,
where you are safe to rest and be exactly yourself…
No need to strive
for success or fall into failure.
 Just simply stop and take a breath
and be yourself fully.
Rest in this moment, safe and unbound.

    Hi Kiran,
    This is a poem I wrote as a gift for my sister's wedding, which, as my girlfriend pointed out, says basically the same thing as what you're saying here:

    Home is where we lay to rest
    Our weary heads when evening comes;
    Home is where we sing and dance
    And have our laughs with those we love.

    We are ever headed home,
    No matter how we turn our head
    For home is where we first arrived
    And home is where we're onward led.

    Here is home, beneath the wailing
    Waves that swell to stormy heights;
    Here is home: a womb within
    The wild of winter's raging nights.

    Home is but a thought away
    In knowing well that here and now
    Is perfect and unchangeable
    Through any fights our Fates allow.

    Home was made for us to love
    And loving is home's one request:
    To fill it with the light of life
    Til Time decides we are to rest.

    Love,
    Gareth Dicker
