Love means sacrifice… or does it?

There is an old practice of sacrificing yourself in the name of love. It is a heroic move, a romantic move, and a parental move. Many religions of the world will tell you this is what God does for you, and what you must do for God.

If someone sacrificed their happiness and well being for you, would that feel like love to you? Is that what you want from your loved ones?

How about something much more practical ? How about you give freedom to all in the name of love? Let’s consider self-love instead of self-sacrifice.
