So its really challenging to find a “delicious yes”—the internal place of pure satisfaction and right action, when an external flow or circumstance has lined up so nicely.
For example: You hired someone to paint your house and it’d be a perfect time to go backpacking for the weekend with friends. But just thinking of the prep required for that is painful. Maybe you push yourself because it has such a great external rhythm: you’re away, and it’s the only time to paint!
Or let’s say I decide to pick up sushi for dinner when I go pick up the kids, which gives me time to finish my report now! But its painful to think of the report. But you “have to”—it’s the only time the kids are away!
